After doing a bit of searching I'm wondering what the process is for getting the latest game updates.

My searches have came up with a few things:
1. Use tinfoil shops (they haven't been updated for a while)
2. Use DBI - I found the check for title updates button but how do I now install these updates? Do I really have to go and manually get them from other websites?

Is there really no windows/switch homebrew app that will check for the latest title updates and automatically install them?

If there is could someone please point me in the right direction, or tell me the process I need to follow to update my games since tinfoil shops are dead and don't have the latest updates like they used to.

Yes

Afaik, no. The tinfoil shops used to be neat for that but as you said, it's not really a thing any more. There are multiple homebrews that check for title updates but it's up to you to find them and install them manually

@SylverReZ I think so bc i'm stupid, stubborn, I like stuff that other people don't like and the other way around, i'm from gen z/alpha, and I can also be aggresive

Being gen z or alpha isn’t a bad thing per se, a lot of the things you hear are just stereotypes

@Plazorn, well stereotypes tend to be true in one way or another

@Xdqwerty stereotypes are generally not true- a lot of old ones are historic examples, and there are many stereotypes that can be compared to the historic ones today, such as "men are smarter than women"
