I'm looking to update my 3ds, but I'm not sure where to start since I haven't been in the loop for a good few years. My current 3ds firmware is version 10.3.0-28U, I have luma and I'm guessing the version is pretty old, I'm getting an error when I try to check the updater. I'm using a9lh and I keep seeing something about everyone using boot9strap or something.
I want to get everything up to date, and do I have to worry about updating my 3ds or do I have to install a firmware manually? I remember way back when they were saying 11.2 is safe but dont update to 11.4, it removes luma, etc. Sorry if this isn't the right place for this, I dont really know where else to post this and I'm just looking for an up to date rundown and what to watch out for.
