Hacking Updating CakesFW Emunand 10.7-11.0

I get a prompt in EmuNAND to install a system update. Can I safely update? I bought my console hacked so I'm not entirely sure how it all works.

Use luma3ds
And yes you can update, but just update with luma3ds, it's better than cakes

make sure you're in emunand before you update, you don't want to accidentally update sysnand

I'm looking at the installation guide. Do I just drag the files into my SD card?

Yes and remove cakes files and the boot.3dsx and boot_cfg if you're using a boot manager

no need to remove the boot.3dsx/boot.cfg if using something like CTRBootManager, you can edit it to use Luma3DS.dat instead of Cakes.dat, if you really want to switch.
