Hacking Updating arm9loaderhax?

I installed arm9loaderhax on my 3ds a while ago. I heard that there was a new version which allows the 3ds to boot without requiring a SD card. How do I update to the latest version of arm9loaderhax?

you have to move the a9lh.bin which is located on the root of the SDCard to your NAND for ex. with FBI or Godmode 9

1. Navigate to arm9loaderhax.bin, then press (A) on it and select the “Copy” option
2. Return to the FBI main menu with (B)
3. Select “CTR NAND”
4. Select “<current directory>”
5. Select the “Paste” option, then press (A) to confirm
6. Exit with the home

When you say not needed do you mean I don't need to update to boot the 3ds without a SD card? If so are there any advantages of updating?

How long ago did you install a9lh? If in the last month or so you probably don't need to update. But there's no harm in updating, if you already had the latest version nothing bad will happen.
