Homebrew Updating A9LH

I'm looking to update my A9LH however I'm a bit cautious because I remember a time where having A9LH v1 files could conflict with A9LH v2 files and vica versa. (And I cannot recall which version was installed on my personal 3DS's.)

My question is has the update process for A9LH generalized? In other words, can I just used Plailect's Updating A9LH guide and follow its instructions without worry?

Yes you can Follow the Guide

Yep, guide works perfectly. Updated A9LH to v2 on N3DS and N3DSxl.
