So I used Choidujour to update to 9.1.0 and chose fat32 (exfat) and now when I try to boot sxos it shows logo and then goes black. If I hold the power button I can go back to rcm mode.
I dont use the sxos pro. I have tried putting the hekate and atmosphere files on the sd root but I dont really understand what that does. ive downloaded the latest sxos and latest payload file ut still just black screen after logo. halp please what am I doing wrong ??

I solved it somehow. I took another card and put just the basic folders of hekate and nx hb menu and held R while payloading and it worked so I switched the files to the other card and voila it worked

Is this new card that you switched to formatted in FAT32? I'm guessing that during the update process, you chose the version without exFAT support. That would explain why your original card would not work upon rebooting and why this new card fixed it. When updating, always choose the version with exFAT support.
