I updated my Emunand to 9.0.1 and already had AMS 0.9.4 on board and updated sig patches with the homebrew now some games like mario brothers say corrupt and some just hard lockup. which i am paranoid about as i have ipatched 4.0.1 and have to get a brief internet connection to get rcm with 90dns. I know loads of people have posted in several places but have not seen any have a solution. I tried to update/reinstall several games for them up say either too low firmware or not current sigpatches. Not a exfat user just fat32. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what I could do?

I don't have enough details to know for sure that this would solve your problem but what you describe was my exact same experience. I have a non-patched unit and was running cfw 8.0 (atmosphere) for a long time. When I updated to 9.0.1 I encountered errors as well.

once I updated my firmware i dowloaded the latest kosmos pack here: https://github.com/AtlasNX/Kosmos/releases
I then downloaded the sig patches from here https://github.com/Joonie86/hekate/releases.

The error codes were still there. I decided to go directly to AMS releases on github here: https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere/releases
and used the same sig patches as above. Still error.

In the end I figured it was the sigpatches so I got my sigpatches here instead:https://gbatemp.net/threads/i-heard-that-you-guys-need-some-sweet-patches-for-atmosphere.521164/

that did the trick!

I am not sure why but it worked. So bottom line, ask yourself were you got the sig patches. If not from the last link posted above then try that one (https://gbatemp.net/threads/i-heard-that-you-guys-need-some-sweet-patches-for-atmosphere.521164/) and it might just work for you.

Good luck!

UG! Yeah it definitely was either partially downloaded or bad sigpatches. Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.
