It only takes one person not doing that to screw it up for everyone. Also, maybe they lack the tools or interface or whatever to automatically detect people using the same seed, and are stuck doing it manually or semi-manually, as they aren't in a position to justify developing those tools for an old system.

I'm saying in the context of them not wanting switch to replace that void, I don't mind switch filling it but I'm just saying, if they are gona keep with separate systems then when are they gona finally release a new dedicated handheld

As long as the games are good it shouldn't matter. The point of new consoles/handhelds is typically because the gaming industry is going in a direction the old one can't handle. Usually graphics, but also size, complexity, online functions, etc.

Right now, the 3DS can handle almost anything Nintendo wants to throw at the portable market. And the Switch can cover mobile gaming that the 3DS can't right now.

There is no current reason why they should be developing a new handheld unless they want to start porting Wii/GC Games to mobile.

just seriously wish it had a higher res screen, even if it was the same power but with just enough extra power for at least 480p or maybe 720 would be nice, nintendo is spoiling me with the switch and dragging me away from my 2ds o.o

Hi, i come for the news ! So, do we know if there is still banwaves now except public seed ones ?

My 3DS is still offline, I didn't touch anything since the first CFW-related banwave  and some friends are asking me if I can play ACNL online with them :ninja:

The new 'banwave' is probably just them banning seeds used on multiple consoles. Just using cfw isn't going to get you banned.

Yea mine got banned again. Public seed lasted for a little while at least. I might have to break down and buy a new one. My daughter really wants to play her animal crossing online with her friends.
