Hacking Update PS3 with no Blueray drive

I've followed the Ps3Xploit guide and it worked successfully, however when I tried to install "Rebug 4.81.2 REX 4.82Syscon Thibobo" it failed half way through with an error code 8002f14e

The console is now trying to install the system software but keeps failing with the same error code (Which seems to be related to having no blueray drive)

I've tried to boot into recovery and reformat the drive and then install the system but it keeps getting stuck at "Checking... Please wait."

Any idea's how I can install anything from this state ?

I've tried using http://www.psx-place.com/threads/4-82-overflow-cfw-collection.15450/ with the noBD path

Thanks for the link, I tired using the version linked but still the same problem, stuck on "Checking... Please wait."
