Hardware Update Available at Midnight?

I turned on my 3DS and received a notification from Nintendo about the 2.0.0-2U update. It said the update will be released in the evening, Pacific Time. Since it's 10:30 Pacific Time right now, is it possible this update will be available in the next 2 hours or so?

I don't think so. From what I remember reading somewhere, Nintendo said the "evening" of June 6th. So I'm guessing we (US Pacific Time) will have to wait another 19 hours or so.

Is there a difference between pacific time and pacific standard time?

pacific time is the time zone in the us and canada i beleive
and pacific standard time is 8 hrs if im not mistaken

I am a bit peeved about the Ridge Racer bug as well. You would think they would have fixed the bug with all the postponements. : sighsh well it will be fixed "later this month". I'll stick with DoA and White for now.

Also, just tried to download the update and 3DS said it was up-to-date. Im assuming this will be like the Wii Shop where the update won't be pushed out until 9 PST. That's about 12 minutes for me. Sadly, I'll be out so I won't get it until I get home around 2 unless I can snag a unprotected wifi connection.

Is there a difference between pacific time and pacific standard time?

"Pacific Time" is the time in the US west coast time zone. It refers to either "Pacific Standard Time" (UTC-8) or "Pacific Daylight Time" (UTC-7), depending on which is active. Currently that is PDT.

I've got a message on Spotpass as well in Germany.
It even says "Update Now!" but no update available thus far.

Has anyone tried updating recently? It's annoying me because they said it would be available "this evening," but it's already 8:40 PM Mountain Time. I'm very curious if it breaks compatibility with my acekard or not.
