Hacking Update 9.0 SX OS Emunand

Hello, so 9.0 is now out i have SX OS with emunand (8.0.1) and sysnand. I have a question can i update only the sysnand to 9.0 leaving emunand on 8.0.1 or im going to break something? Thanks i hope you can help me!

Results so far are that 9.0 SYSNAND with 8.x EMUNAND still work, however the cartridge slot breaks and is not usable as of right now-- however please do not try updating until we know for sure!

If your emunand stays on firmare 8.1, and nintendo releases new updates every day this week, it wouldnt matter if you update just the sysnand. The only thing you wouldnt be able to do is boot original firmware from the sxos launcher, as that requires 9.0 support.

So basically autorcm, emunand 9.0 and cartdrige slot are the only broken/not compatible things?
Guess I'm waiting for an update then as I'm using autorcm and I don't want to mess too much with my cheap paper clip jig. Hope all will be fixed before October 15, want to try Overwatch.

I think so, but you may want to check other sources just to be sure, I've been a little busy with IRL stuff so I haven't been able to check into it People are still dumping keys but hopefully SX update will come soon to fix everything!

There's no need to update as no games require 9.0 yet (that we know of). Just stay on 8.1

So if I want to update my SYSNAND (I'm using SXOS) to 9.0 - should I turn of AutoCRM first (I have a jig) and is it then a case of just running the update in the original firmware?

Biggest worry is that nintendo just won some lawsuit in the uk that prevents ISPS connecting to the sx websites(if im not mistaken) hopefully this doesn’t affect their productivity.
