AfD, alternative for Germany (Deutschland), has won a resounding victory in the former East German state of Saxony Anhalt according to exit polls.

Large gains for the far right have followed a slowing German economy amidst faltering sales of German automobiles and massive layoffs (partially due to competition from ultra cheap Chinese EVs).

Due to Germany's fascist history, there is concern about the rise of the far right, and the AfD is under German state surveillance. As the leader of the state party Ulrich Siegmund took the podium, chants of "sieg-mund" could be heard - echoing former sieg chants from a once thought bygone era.

Not great but not surprising. The far right generally are doing well in areas with post industrialisation. AfD,, I recall do well in the former Eastern blocs.

This is not aided by the uselessness of the mainstream parties to grasp with economic decline and the billionaire class who want division. I do regard the 2008 crash as the precursor to this shit and the middle east tensions of the 2010s has not helped. A damn shit more bankers should have been chucked in prison and there be at least a reform of capitalism and shift away from neo-liberalism.

AfD has comfortably won every single nationwide German opinion poll the last 5 months

They are sure to win the next general election - however - they will likely not be in government due to a socalled firewall policy whereby other parties refuse to engage with them or form coalitions

Top to bottom:
AfD (far right)
CDU (center)
Greens (left)

And we can thank Musk and Thiel for their efforts in funding Neo-Nazi and far right groups in the EU.

Their objective is to destroy the European Union. So far i cant really understand why, but these are white supremacist maniacs so it might be difficult to understand their objectives.

The sad reality is that they are winning.
