that's because the release thread was deleted.
it was 99% i can't find it/off topic/trolling/hints/fake rom arguing.
so it was locked, unlocked, locked, deleted until the rom pops up.

I've always been pretty successful at finding ROMs, but I've never used the search technique that it seems like everyone else uses (searching the filename that's posted on ds-scene). Can someone give me some tips onhow to search using that info? I'll usually pull up some files, but it's hard to tell what's legit, what isn't, or if I'm even searching correctly.

Currently, I'm using google to search for "v-pluf.zip" (in quotes)

Well if the .nfo is real then the ROM must be real too. Just because a few ROM sites posted a fake ROM doesn't mean the release itself is fake.
