Heyo, I'm running homebrew launcher on a n3dsxl, version 11.6, and i'm just trying to use FBI for some game plugins, and when i tried launching it, the 'kernel is not installed' black screen popped up.

I read somewhere else on this site that you needed fasthax to run before launching FBI, so I put that into the sd card, and ran it.

Then another black screen popped up saying; "Unsupported kernel version. k11_exploit failed!"

What does this mean, and how do I fix it? I'm just trying to use plugins....

Thanks for the help!

Go to 3ds.guide.

You can't take advantage of fbi without cfw.And for cfw you need to install b9s first with a flashcard.

Ah, dang it... okay then. Thank you!

Actually, since you already have the homebrew launcher you can easily take advantage of seedminer which just requires a $2 dsiware purchase. Just go to Installing boot9strap (DSiWare), then choose seedminer, then "I do have a friend with access to the homebrew launcher". Finally, in section 1 skip #1 and in #3 press A to dump the LFCS from your own system instead of B.

Go to 3ds.guide.

No need for a flash card, seedminer works just fine with usermode homebrew. You just have to press A instead of B on step 3 in section 1.
