Hacking unproperly installed rev 10

Try Trucha Bug Restorer 1.11 for the IOS36 patching instead. And if you can't choose IOS36 in its menu, you should install it without any patches to IOS36.

Ok, it works but how should I use it?

Sorry for double I didn't notice.

Will it work with rev 10?

Yes and no. TBR itself won't need a cIOS, you only need IOS36 and IOS15 for it. And cIOSrev10 would be installable with the patched IOS36 you get with TBR, but i think cIOSrev10 does not work on your Wii.

And there is no need to use cIOSrev10 anyways, if NeoGamma can't read DVD-Rs with cIOSrev14, either your drive won't read DVD-Rs at all, or you have bad burns(or bad .isos).

It doesn't?
Tried re-installing it with Bannerbomb?

Anyway, you can run the cIOS installer with bannerbomb too if needed.

Did you just install the file in your original rapidshare link (IOS36-64-v1042.wad) by itself through WAD Manager? If so, then you never really installed rev10.

Homebrew Channel works but any homebrew app doesn't.
Which IOS should i choose if I want to replace rev 10? Should it be IOS38?

Answer my question. Also, does WAD Manager 1.5 boot at all?

Copy TBR's boot.dol to the root of your sd card. Launch bannerbomb, and use TBR to install an unpatched IOS36 as IOS36. After that regular homebrew should work. And then launch the installer from cIOSrev14 or 17 and install it.

When I tried to install unpatched IOS36 TBR froze.

By the way why you so discourage (I don't know is it good word because i found it in a dictionary) wii format? Would it delete rev 10?

Tell me exactly what you do in TBR and what it prints on the screen, i think you have some big problem.

And i tell everybody to not format the wii memory as it does not touch IOS. It doesn't change anything that you can mess up with cIOS and patched IOS, but in return it can be be if you have preloader installed. There are only VERY rare conditions when a wii format should be done, and i can't even name one at the moment.
