I apologize if this is the wrong spot for this question, but I bet it will be answered here...

I was playing my first game online today. It was running fine with no lag whatsoever. I was sucking pretty badly, then I found the Rocket Launcher and racked up 5 kills in a row without dying. Then I spawned next to it, got another kill with it, and suddenly find myself disconnected. Strange? Is it possible for hackers to d/c players, or is it just cheats they are using? Thanks for the input

Edit: Also, is it possible to rename your profile, or do I have to start another profile to change my name online?

ok you can ask blast187 Rasputin/1634-2159-6748 is a hacker i nailed him 5 times with a rocket and he did not die i hosted a private game and only time he died is when he did something to him self. it was a free for all rocket game on streets.

I can confirm. I shot him many times at point blank range and he didn't die once. Rasputin = hacker

sounds like he's a hacker... however, the only hacks that i've heard of to make invincibility do not protect against instant kill attacks, aka accurate rocket explosions, point blank shotgun, point blank atomizer and such. so he could just have a very crappy connection that convieniently makes him invincible, or at least lags the kills that you got to a much later time. the way the conduit works, is if you see the attack connect, explosion or weapon, it has hit the target, no matter what. there might be lag though, and the hit might not register until later.

so if you point blank or accurately rocket a person, they should die, unless they're hacking



and you can't change you're profile name... without hacking

Or of course a 6 kills to 1 death win could mean I was just better???? and those CLAIMED direct rocket hits to my face were in their imagination, driven to overdrive by 'badloser' syndrome.

I'm using an SD card and USB Loader 1.4.

i fixed it using usbloader_gx running cios12 and running the game with anti on and ios 222 enabled in the game settings and all works now including friends request.

Hm... when I boot up The Conduit via the GX loader, it starts everytime, starstremr. What's your set-up?

Using GX I occasionally get black screen on load up - probably 1 out of 10 times maybe.

I'm getting a bunch of grief starting matches though. I had 3 in a row of being either stuck in a wall or the textures hadn't loaded and couldn't move.
