Homebrew Unlaunch boots up without options

Can someone help me with this problem .. I have install unlaunch using the Flipnote lenny technique but the problem is that everytime i power on my dsi XL, it just boot up unlaunch gui *without options and then goes straight to the dsi menu...

You're using an outdated version of Unlaunch. You need 1.8 installed.

I tried installing 1.8 but i got the message

'You have discovered unknown old firmware version'

So i can't install that version ..

I think it has to do with the System Software Version of his DSi.

Did you ever sort this out

Update Unlaunch to 1.8 downloading it from here, insert your SD Card on the computer, copy "UNLAUNCH.DSI" to the root of your SD Card and rename it to "bootcode.dsi" (if you already have a "bootcode.dsi" file rename it to bootthis.dsi"), put the SD Card on your DSi XL and turn it ON, (the unlaunch installer should be appear) move to "Install Now" option, then to "Power Down". Turn it ON again and for now, you should be in Unlaunch 1.8 Filemenu (AKA Unlaunch GUI).

If it doesn't work, download this "bootcode.dsi" file, it's configured to boot HiyaCFW.

Use unlaunch 1.9, as that error was fixed there (don't worry if on the site it says it's unstable, it's been tested deeply enough and there were no issues, it's just nocash not updating his site unless a new update comes out)
