Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

Hey all!

I've been having a little issue with my wii somehow connecting to an unknown device before I am able to connect my wii remotes so they are always connecting from Player 2. I was just wondering if there was a way to check what has connected to the wii since I only have two remotes and a balance board and the balance board doesn't connect until I open Wii Fit, but I am unable to since the unknown thing is connecting. Any help is appreciated.

(I didn't know if I was supposed put this here or in the hacking thread but I figured since it was hardware related I would put it here)

Update: I have confirmed it is not a wii remote as the other two were turning off after a certain time and the random would still be connected.
