Download your system menu version with NUS Downloader
And install it with the wad manager.

You have to be sure that you get the system menu for your region!

i will prefer this method because installing system menu will also uninstall preloader, if you have it.

In that case though, you'll need to find a common key so NUSD can decrypt the contents of the system menu file

I would be carefull..like REALLY carefull. I heard that installing custom system menu's are one of the easiest ways to brick. Based on my previous luck, I would probally end up bricking mine. I have been lucky so far with USB loads though.

thats why it is advised to have brick protection if anything goes wrong, if you dont then when you brick its your own fault for not taking any warnings seriously

by Brick Protection, you mean installing the Boot2 and saving the backup NAND right?

bootmii/boot2, Preloader. Priiloader

I'd recommend to use DOP-Mii to reinstall the System Menu. This is the safest and easiest way and gives the option to keep Priiloader.
