Hacking Uninstall or Delete?

Hello all, just have a simple question that I might already know the answer too but what the heck.

Whats the difference between uninstalling a channel or just deleting it? I'm sure both are safe since no one mentions it. I'm guessing uninstalling removes the ticket for a channel from the Wii's internal memory where as deleting the channel leaves it in? Leaving the ticket in and downloading the channel that uses it would end up corrupting the data? Just wanted to know what my options are when removing channels.

Yes, uninstalling will removes the ticket where as deleting the channel leaves it in. But leaving the ticket behind is 100% safe and wont corrupt any date if you redownload/install it, unless you're pirating something illegally (VC, wiiware) then it might later on with future updates from Nintendo....
