tueidj,
if you need NTFS source code then i didn't change it.

As for NAND emulator source code: i will release it later, when i will finish it.

That's not good enough. You've used a lot of GPL code here, source code for everything should be released as soon as you started distributing compiled builds.

GPL doesn't request you to release your own source code. It requests you to release originally GPLed code only, not your own. You may see a lot of firmwares for routers, NAS and other devices using linux GPL code. Many of them has released original GPL source code. Can you compile it to a working firmware. Nope. Most important parts are closed. It doesn't violate GPL, but at the same time doesn't give you anything useful.
There is no reason to include original GPL code here since you can easily download it from original source. By the way, most so-called GPL code i've used is reverse-engineered which originally violates rights of Nintendo and other parties. So, it's still questionable can it be called as GPL or not.
Anyway, as i've stated above, i will release full source code of my projects when i will be ready to.
If you wanna argue about it - send me PM.

QUOTEDoes the GPL require that source code of modified versions be posted to the public?

The GPL does not require you to release your modified version, or any part of it. You are free to make modifications and use them privately, without ever releasing them. This applies to organizations (including companies), too; an organization can make a modified version and use it internally without ever releasing it outside the organization.

But if you release the modified version to the public in some way, the GPL requires you to make the modified source code available to the program's users, under the GPL.

Thus, the GPL gives permission to release the modified program in certain ways, and not in other ways; but the decision of whether to release it is up to you.

just sayin'...

lolzed,
your understanding of "modified source code" is wrong.
If you are using some project using functions of GPL code, it doesn't call as modified source code. Modified source code is when you modify code of some functions of GPLed code.

You're confusing GPL with LGPL. By using GPL code you must release the entire source, not just what you modified.

he said he was going to release it. i'd like the source as much as anybody else it hasn't even been a whole day yet. try asking nicely and be a little patient before trying to push it.

I wouldn't be pushing if he agreed to do it ASAP rather than "when i will be ready to." A simple acknowledgement and agreeing to release the source when I first asked would have been fine...

About the GPL:

If you release something where you used GPL code, add the full source code and make the license of your program GPL, then you fullfill the conditions of the GPL. Ok, so far so good. But i think that's only one way to do it, isn't it also allowed to give out the source code on request? So tueidj if you want the source, could you please just ask for it instead of nagging about the GPL conditions? I don't want to attack you or something, i also dislike it if the source is missing. I fail to see why it's so difficult to just put the used source code into a .zip/.rar file when releasing something. If somebody wants to clean his code or whatever, he can still do it later for later progam revisions.

any solutions for GC games that don't like being booted away from disc channel ie Killer 7 ?

peppa pig also not working

Doesn't peppa pig require you to use another function to shutdown the IOS subsystems? I think it was something in that direction, it always worked in NeoGamma for example, and then other usb loaders, like CFG, copied the shutdown code from Gecko OS/NeoGamma and the game started to work. I'm too lazy right now to look it up.

About Killer 7, can you please give me some details about that? Can you try it with NeoGamma GC mode internal and the recommend cMIOS installed? If your WODE does its job correctly, that should boot the game, if not i'm very interested.

Wow. Just wow. I just tried Uniiloader, and damn, it is good!

So far, everything I have told it to launch launches just fine!
(I have not tried the NAND Emulator yet)

I think you have me confused with another member who was banned/quit the forum, then tried to sneak back in several times.

I think you are incorrect, but... if it makes you fell better, I guess.... I cannot stop you from telling yourself that. Not that it will change what others think though.

I will try the NAND Emulator soon, and I will post my results.

Wode boots the game fine from disc channel its a homebrew issue. I'll give Neogamma a shot.
