This isn't an introduction thread, but I don't know where else to post this so:

I recently downloaded a copy of the Android Sonic Mania Plus Decompilation Port. I couldn't avoid downloading illegal content though, because every copy I found online had the Data.rsdk bundled with it. However, I legally own Sonic Mania Plus on Steam. So as soon as I finished downloading the Android copy, I replaced the illegal Data.rsdk with my own legal Data.rsdk. I apologize to the creators of the decompilation and stuff for having to illegally download the game, but at least I made up for it. Am I golden over it now?

You downloaded illegal content: You are a bad, bad person!
The fact you replaced the data.rsk makes it kind of worse imho, it shows you knew you were doing something illegally when downloading. Afterwards disguising your illegally obtained software doesn't change it's dark origin.

In short: my guess is you're silveren, who cares :)

Fine, I'll delete everything I downloaded. It wasn't very important to me anyway.

And I've ☎️ and 📧 this to the FBI, CIA, NSA, KFC, immigration authorities, Angela Merkel, the Pope, your Mother and Santa for "Destroying Evidence"
