Homebrew Unconvert videos???

I downloaded a .dpg video or wahtever the file is.... And I'd like to unconvert it. How would I do that, exactly?

No, I mean turn it back into whatever video file that it was before it was converted to .dpg. Unless that's what you just said. I don't know my encoding/converting terminology.

The best you will get is what you see on the DS. Reversing back from .dpg is going to give you a video the same or worse quality as the .dpg...So if you can't read it now, chances are you aren't going to when you convert it back.

There's no such thing as 'uncoverting'.

Once you convert a video, that's what that file is.
You can usually convert it BACK to the original source file, but any changes made (i.e. size reduction, increased compression, lower bitrates, etc) will stay and you won't get as good quality as the original was.

............Well, I found this thing called "Internet Video Converter" or some BS, and the download page claims that it can convert dpg to wmv..... But it can't even use DPG!!!!

EDIT: WTF Super can convert TO but not FROM?!

Why don't download a dvdrip of avatar? Then only good thing about that movie is precisely that its eye-candy, watching it in poor quality is like killing it.

DPG is NOT a lossless format. If it was, it would probably feature a RAW video stream with FLAC audio which the DS definately cannot decode. Sorry mate. Once you convert to another format, it will be even shitter quality at 256x192...
