Hacking Unbrick without Sysnand only have Emunand possible?

hello guys so a friend give his bricked 3ds as he get another one from his parents and i was wondering if there is a way to unbricked using only emunand no sysnand thanks in advance

You have a valid emuNAND dump? If so then you could indeed flash the emuNAND to the system with a a hardmod. This will however restore it to whatever firmware the emuNAND was updated to.

The emuNAND dump must be from the bricked console though.

Unless che do use 9.2 emunand. In that way he can run decrypt9

Well if it's a 9.2 emuNAND then they are golden as the will have ready access to homebrew and CFW once the flash is done.

yeah he was using rxtools but i dont know that he did he give it to me with the sd card thas has the emunand i alredy back it up in my pc so with a hardmod is posible do i need anthing else thank

Yes you can! Like me i have unbricked my 3ds with emunand 9.0 firmlanch
But you need A9LH

i think he does not have A9LH installed just rxtools and the emunand is 9.2 i think

OK, maybe i did reacted to tour post a bit too much too, but please:
1. Don't call random people noob
2. Post threads in the right section unless you nave a really importan reason for it.

Like I said a hard mod can be used to unbrick if the emunand.bin you have is from the unit that you are unbricking. Once unblocked you can use the 10.5 to 10.2 native firm downgrade method to enable memchunkhax2 and downgrade to a more hack friendly firmware. Once there I'd recommend setting up a9lh after that.

Technically they don't even need to downgrade from 10.5 to 10.2 since they're flashing a 9.2 backup.

yep , just use emunand as a normal nand an flash it to your 3ds
also , i will advice you to backup the bricked 3ds nand before writing..who knows , maybe if the emunand is not a valid one(in case the first owner updated using a cart game) , a new way to debrick without a nand backup will popup soon (seeing all those released keys )

thanks @mitroux i will try that then for what i know he never use a cart game to play and i remember read a while ago that you just coulnt writing emunand on sysnand just like that thats why i was asking
