Gaming unban your xbox

Thought it would be good if we had a thread about this..

what you need:

your 8955 live console + cpu key
a 2nd unbanned console
nandpro b + flash cable
xell loader
degraded
1888 fs
robinsod's flashtool

process:

use nandpro and dump nand from unbanned console.
flash xell and use jtag hack to obtain cpu key.
use flashtool to extract file system.

dump nand from 8955 console.
use flashtool to patch nand dump with kv.bin from unbanned console.
save patched file (patched_kv.bin).

open degraded + 1888 fs.
create 1888 downgrader image (downgrader.bin) from your patched_kv.bin file.

flash downgrader.bin to 8955 console.
attach hdd + ethernet cable and boot console.

connect to live and update to 8955 dashboard.

console is now fully working and unbanned!

Sigh, too many reasons why this isnt worth the hassle.

You might as well keep one of them, and throw the banned one away.

The only thing this be useful for is if you had a console that wasnt banned RROD on you. If your console not banned then no point making it useless i suppose. Plus there's way to much hassle in the whole unbanning procedure and im sure microsoft would figure it out somehow.

Thing is if you are banned from live in the last wave, like the majority, you won't have the 8955 build dashboard, but a later one.
This hack only works on the 8955 or lower, so for the majority of us, it's worthless.

If you do decide to go ahead with it, never connect the 2 boxes at the same time or they'll both get banned.
