Hacking Unauthorised Device Error Strangeness

Hi,
Another question that I need answered because I don't keep on top of Wii developments, so apologies!
I grabbed a scrubbed image of Klonoa and burnt it to disc (after changing the region from JPN to USA for use on my NTSC system).
I have a WiiKey installed, and my Wii is at 3.2U (never updated), when I first loaded the game from the disc channel, I got something like Error 0001: Unauthorised Device Detected.
I just tried to load it again, and it now works fine! I never saw the message described above before (maybe before the Mario Galaxy update!), any ideas why it appeared and now is working fine?

thats because to play backups on the disc channel you need menupatcher.

he is Clearly using a modchip, not a backup loader.

and calwy1.... if it is working fine now... is there a problem? xD

there are errors here and there with anything unofficial or modded, but if its ok now, just brush it off
