I had my modded Wii for quite a while (since somewhere in 2022), and I installed RiiConnect24 just for grins and giggles on there. I heard about this new technology called "WiiLink", and I learned that RiiConnect24 is now discontinued. I decided to give WiiLink a try, using the patcher and installing the wads. Installation was kind of bumpy but it managed to go smoothly, that ended with me agreeing to WiiLink EULA. I decided to see if Forecast Channel was working by going into the channel, but then it hit me with the error code FORE000002, with News Channel giving me a similar error code NEWS000002. On another thread that was trying to fix these errors, the error was fixed by "backup of my data and format my wii, and now both channels are up and running..." I'm not comfortable with formatting my wii, but another comment used Region Select to select the region through Everybody Votes Channel and everything ended up working. The Region Selector I installed through YAWMM was useless as it gave me the error code 222001 because it couldn't connect to the internet, so I used AnyGlobe Changer to set my region, and Everybody Votes Channel worked, but Forecast and News didn't. I'm pretty sure this is a network error, or I just installed the wrong .wads. What am i supposed to do in this situation?
