Homebrew unable to enter the system menu

I have already posted this question in the hacking section but didn't get any help, hoping I might get an answer here.
I think I mistakenly installed haxchi cold boot over the top of another type of cfw. The current state of my system will not boot at all without an SD card inserted (error -3 SD error) when I do put my SD card in and boot it up I get directly into the HBC. if I hold B while booting (I have my haxchi config set to boot to system menu by holding B) I get the wiiU logo screen, it fades to black and loops that over and over until I release it and I'm once again kicked into HBC.

Thank goodness I stall have access to HBC I just need to figure out what app I need and how to go about either finding or reinstalling my system menu

any thoughts or things I can try are welcome at this point I'm about ready to try anything.

Please anyone out there have half a clue on what I should do here? My kids are driving my nuts locked down with covid and less a console.

No I have not, But I will just as soon as I get home! will let you know how it turns out.

that fixed it. I can now boot into my system menu and load HBC from there.
