Hey there,

I am doing a switch repair and came across a capacitor that gives me no readings, so It needs to be replaced. Would anybody here happen to know its Capacitor values? Perhaps someone would be able to grab them for me, from a working switch? I have circled the capacitor to show where it is, specifically within the circle, it is the small BLACK chip. Any help I can get would be great. Thanks.

Im reading 7.6 Ohms

Is't this a resistor's value?

by the way that resistor and the capacitors nearby are connected to pin 15 (AVDD) which is Analog power on the 1.8v power rail

here is the power control for this chip it seems AVD D requires 0.1uf capacitor together with a 10uf one connected to that resistor

Thank you for this very valuable information. I will sift through it and hopefully get good results.

So what I gather is it requires a 10uf cap? IE the black one that was already ripped off?

yes, is a resistor not a cap but also requires a cap which I guess is the beige one next to the black smd component.

Kind of OT - is there a good place with a component location + value list for the Switch mainboard that could help with these kinds of questions?

a few pages before i read that the resistors circled in red are 100kohm resistors.

so i have two switch mainboards. on both of the boards the opposite resistor has only <50kohm. on one board aux- is 50k ohm and on the other board aux+ is 50k ohm. i desoldered one of the 100k ohm resistor and soldered them to the other switchboard so that both resistor have the correct value of 100k ohm. the problem is that the resistor now messures <50k ohm? wtf?

so i took apart a switch with BSOD and both resistors have only <50k ohm?

i red that resistors can be damaged when exposed to too much heat. but 50k down from 100k?

i dont think they would messuere differntly when they are soldered in circut or would they...?

all of them are huc 10 boards.

if you think, i damaged them: what size do those resistor have?
