Gaming Umm....what?

So I haven't been on PSN since my free Playstation Plus 1 month membership back in February. The only thing I downloaded was Modnation Racers game trial, and even then I only got to 5% before I got bored and cancelled it. Now today I went to the PS Store and saw that I have the game and brought it for $29.99 too. Keep in mind, I DID NOT buy the game. It is 11GBs so I'm gonna try to install and play. Has anyone ever experienced this before?

You think it'll work even without Plus? Besides on the PS Store it says I "paid" for the full game but doesn't say that I downloaded the trial.

PS Plus doesn't have member-only titles, just discounts on games and early access stuff (along with free games sometimes too I think), so it should work without PS Plus. Just download it and if it's the full game congratz, you got a full game. If not, oh well, you have a trial still. It's not like you're gonna get ultra super mega banned for doing it.

you may get a message tell you to renew your PSN+ when you run the item

but
any discounted psn items you get, are yours even if PSN+ has expired
