Gaming Ultra Sun and Moon difficulty level?

Does the main quest (not postgame content) provide a challenge? A few months ago I picked up Omega Ruby but it was so easy I returned it and got a refund.

Harder than oras? Yes. Still not that difficult, but better than other games.

Totem pokemons are way harder this time (at least for me). They wernt a challenge (again, for me) last game, but this one i find myself in trouble some times.

The difficulty of Pokemon games are usually dependent on your playstyle and the Pokemon you catch/want to use. Totems do offer a sort of challenge but can be easily beaten given you have the correct types.

Well I keepp dying with a level 47 Absol against fire totem dude so...

Ultra necrozma is basically level 60 while your still in the 40's so it can be a bit tough
