I'm working on dark cloud 2

Its rough, and I'm doing it the long way by rebuilding everything for switch. Hope to have chapter one demo released in a 2-3 weeks.

My dream is to play this game on the Switch... I'm really looking forward to playing this port.

It runs at 45-60fps on stock handheld, 60fps on stock docked.

Achievements work.

Multiplayer split screen works / or just with bots.

Uses NFS:MW (thanks StevenND) as its base, so uses the same renderer.

I'll have it on Github at some point.

Hey great for you porting both games for the NS! I extracted the xbla package for perfect dark, put the files on the "game" folder but only crash after launch the nro. Am I missing something else? can you please share how to boot it correctly? thanks in advanced

Use something like this to extract: https://github.com/xenia-canary/xenia-canary/releases

(Content > Extract Content > etc)

Your folder structure should be:

sdmc:/switch/perfectdark/pd.nro
sdmc:/switch/perfectdark/pd.toml
sdmc:/switch/perfectdark/game/default.xex
sdmc:/switch/perfectdark/game/DataFiles/ <-- and everything in it

Unfortunately the same issue happens after launching the nro. I tried with different digital xbla files, extracted with different tools, I use another hacked switch console with different firmware (one 23.0.0, the other an old 16.0.1) and still crashes to home menu. Hope this can be sorted out with an update! ty

Ilomilo is a great game for puzzle platformer fans. I played it from the windows store in Windows on my Mac, lol, it would be much more at home on the Switch instead.

Native Starfox Adventures port would be amazing. Goldeneye 007 as well (Wii version would probably run stable 30 with forced Classic Controller support).

Sorry should have clarified. You can’t yet of course other than running Android. Just saying it’s realistic it’s coming to Switch as well eventually
