uLaunch - custom, open source Nintendo Switch HOME menu reimplementation

uLaunch

The themeable Nintendo Switch HOME Menu Nintendo forgot to make

This isn't some kind of HOME Menu extension, injection, patch, etc.: uLaunch is an entire reimplementation (of key components), 100% open-source!

Let uLaunch be the HOME Menu Nintendo never bothered to make!

How do you think I'd try that? selecting by pressing Y 1280 times? and then pressing left analogue sticks for 15 minutes or longer to go all the way to the left to a folder?
It would take me hours.

It's called troubleshooting.
You could also move the games temporarily over to your pc and see if the problem persists.
But that would also take a bunch of time ^^

What do you mean move over the games? the icons are on the switch...... You can't move them out can you?

how customization will/can this be?
in my view, the UI is too similar switch menu, so i dont see that much of a reason to use this over the native menu.

Would it be possible to create something like this? I'm creating a clean and simple interface, similar to the original, but with some extra touches:

Any way to add a screen off timer, I turned off my generator, and several hours later realized my switch was on in the dock the whole time.

i tested this out in atmosphere and a couple things are sorely missing (all apps/ filter by title, etc)
but that really speaks to how promising and cool this project can be.
i hope tx can bring compatibility, and if not im sorry to say i hope its stolen,
but thanks for this refreshing and promising software. tonight we will give thanks and include your in our blessings
