Hacking Question Two Switches. Best setup for each?

Hello all, thanks for the replies to this thread.

I have the exact same request - I have a non patched launch console (can inject payloads) with all my saves & stuff, updated to 6.2.0 - that I want to use for homebrew (emulators) since i can inject payloads.
I just got a new one, on 4.1.0, but which is ipatched.
At this point in time, I'd need to update both to 7.0 since it'd force me to update from 6.2.0 to transfer my saves to the Nin Cloud (I subscribed to online). I did it once a while ago but not since… is uploading saves automatic ? cos I guess I just could declare my "old" one as lost/broken, and request my new console to be the primary one from the Nintendo shop/support ?
i'd have my 6.2.0 untouched, and the new one my official.

If I move the 6.2.0 non-patched one to 7.0, both being on 7.0, I could officially transfer, but would the old 7.0 one be able to enter RCM with a jig and run HB ?

my own setup is that I update my clean switch to 7.0.0 and use it for online play and legit stuff.
my second switch is setup with atmsphere and on 6.2.0 and only used for homebrew and modding mario games.
I would never update my CFW switch. I do not transfer anything between two switches.

doesn't matter cause nintendo will flag you regardless their taking no prisoners this time

The thing is i need my old to transfer contents to the new one. Which means I’ll have to update the old one to 7.0 to transfer saves and contents...

HB / CFW would not run on 7.0.0. the devs are working on it right now.
