Like maybe instead of L+R+Start+Select resetting the game, it can take you back to the twloader menu. It would make testing purposes just a bit faster. If this isnt possible itd make sense.

No.. did I need to? (I don't know what a donor ROM is...)
Yes. Press SELECT on MKDS, and touch "Set as donor rom".

Nope. That requires hacking TWL_FIRM.

I'm having some problems switching between the themes. Going from the R4 Theme to DSi or Wood caused a crash when exiting settings. Are there any tips for fixing this?

I'm using Ver. 4.0.2 BTW

Also, would changing the New3DS CPU settings in Luma make any difference in performance?
Having same problem, too.

I'm thinking the only way to fix this is to remove showing the Slot-1 box art in the Wood theme, except I don't want to. :P
What really needs to be fixed is the Slot-1 crashes. I still don't know what's causing it to crash.

Not sure if you guys saw my earlier post, but here it is again.

Ok, so I think I might have found a workaround for how the Settings crash does not save any changes you made.

Basicly when you go into Settings and make your changes, instead of exiting back to the DSi Menu or whatever theme you are using, press the Home button and close instead. When you reopen TWL it should apply whatever changes you made in Settings.

This works for changing to a different Theme as well.

Does Slot-1 still work for you? Because it still doesn't for me, except when I'm using the DSi theme.

I'm using the DSi Theme as well. It's the only one I can use since TWL doesn't seem to recognize my CycloDS cart unless I plug in a game first, eject, then plug in my CycloDS.

R4 and Wood don't even show it as Unrecognized Cartridge.

Edit:
Also, I just realized this, but if you have a Flashcard that has a built in Cheats Menu, it may work with TWL. My CycloDS Evo supports Cheats and it works! XD

TWLoader v4.0.3

Changes
  • "Wood" is changed to "akMenu/Wood".
  • "Donor" in languages outside of English is changed to "Donor".
Improvements
  • Settings screen background color is slightly changed.
Bug fixes
  • Crashing when launching Slot-1 should be fixed. Very sure it is.
  • Tried again to fix crashing when exiting out of Settings.
  • Per-game LED works again.

Just updated, and it seems that as long as I'm on the R4 Theme, exiting Settings is not causing a crash.

If I'm on DSi or akMenu/Wood Themes, it still crashes when exiting Settings.

I haven't had any problems launching Slot-1 yet tho.

Any ideas how I can reproduce the bug?

I'm afraid I'm not a programmer, so I have no idea where to even start. I was just trying to offer feedback.

This is purely me guessing, but since R4 is the only Theme that doesn't have a Settings button in the menu, maybe that has something to do with it?

I think it's related to Slot-1 box art loading, which the R4 theme doesn't show.

Not necessarily. You see since I'm using the CycloDS, there is no Slot-1 Box art. In fact, I have to insert an actual game cartridge (Pokemon Sun in my case) before it will even notice that I've inserted my CycloDS. Even then, it only shows it as Unknown Cartridge.
