Hey guys this may be a nooby question but I was using TWL loader and nds-bootstrap and reliving the old days playing some Mario Kart DS and I turned on the automatic update setting in TWL Loader. Later I got back on and I opened up TWL Loader and it updated the GUI and then force quitted out of the app. When I open the TWL Loader CIA back up its says "CHECKING TWL LOADER VERSION" and just stays there and sits and the 3DS becomes unresponsive and I have to force shut down my system. Any ideas why?
My specs
Old3DS
A9LH 11.2
Luma3DS
Sysnand

It's fixed for me. I don't understand.
Well I just installed TWLoader for the first time and I stay stuck on the message.
I don't really care, I just deactivate the function and the rest mostly work. I'll gladly update to the next release when it's done.

All I did was disable my wifi then I went into TWL Loader's settings and disabled auto updates that should for most people.

yall im torn... ive been hacking away at tales of phantasia GBA (the USA version) and have so many documents of reverse engineering i've done
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
