Homebrew Twilight Menu Cheat help

Hi!

I am trying to use cheats for Pokemon Soulsilver with Twilight Menu.

I searched a youtube video how to put the dat file in the extra folder in my sd card. I did that and Almost all my games have cheats available, but when i go under my soulsilver game it says "no cheats found"

????

Can someone please help!

PS: I got the soul silver rom from reddit and I did use a program to change the starter pokemon in it would that effect why the cheats are not showing???

Ok I figured it out -

the problem was that I messed with the rom using a program to change the starter pokemon.

I deleted the game from my system, then put it back on (the clean rom version) and it shows the cheats now.
