It doesn't work anymore. The original SudokuHex worked with the first edition of the Sudoku game that was up on the DSi Shop.
Once the hack was made public, Nintendo was very fast to take the game down within a few hours, and replaced it with a fixed version impossible to hack.
YOu can only try to buy an already hacked DSi off e-bay or something.

the more important point being that if you just bought it then your firmware is updated, and not 1.4.1. 1.4.2+ blocks copying DSiWare exploits to your DSi “internal memory”: http://hackmii.com/2011/08/final-dsiwarehax/
