ROM Hack [Tutorial] How to Decrypt, Extract & Rebuild a CIA

So, how do I rebuild a .cia ? Should I use the 3ds builded in the pack and then convert to cia? The guide you linked seems to be only for x/y/or/as.

Hey there! Frst of all thanks for this tutorial! it really has helped me with extracting files from different games and mess with them. But as of now, I'm having some trouble with one single game, and that is the Corpse Party Blood Covered Repeated Fear one...so after extracting everything and modifying part of the text of the game with an hex editor, I recompiled the game, and tested it....yet to my surprise, it seemed that the game was still in japanese, as if it didn't care about what I translated and modified on the file with the script...
You don't happen to know why is something like this happening no?

How do I rebuild the smash update cia? The tutorial only shows how to do it with pokemon. I was able to make a .3ds file from the edits and convert that to .cia, but it installs as a game not as an update/patch. I tried to change CTR-P-AXDC to CTR-U-AXDC in 3ds builder, but It doesn't allow me to.

The patch im currently editing don't seem to have the path for the ones in the actual rom

Can we use this with converted .3ds or need untouched .cias from eshop? (or is there an easier way to decrypt .3ds files ) Also, what is the "key" from the step where you edit the .bin and replace the 00 with it?

Can we get a guide for rebuilding them here please? I don't really understand how to rebuild a game that isn't pokemon using the guide from that topic also some of the tools are missing in your pack from it. Thanks!

Since ORAS is the only thing under "repacking CIAs", does that mean that we can only repack ORAS or do we use the same method for all CIAs?

Any way to rebuild the update for Smash, as opposed to Pokemon? When I try to import mine I end up with a error that the title already exists, despite the update data being deleted. When I do install it, it replaces the smash game I already have with the update, and no longer launches.

When I put the CIA (cs.cia) in the PackHack folder (same folder as the HackingToolkit.exe) and type cia, then cs (my CIA's name is cs.cia), then n to code.bin, no folders or files ever appear. No decrypted romfs, etc.

Do you have spaces in your windows username ?
Try with the last fix, 4.6
