Yes, if the system title you rebuilt has a lower version than the official one (you set the version with arguments to makerom, and some versions of makerom are buggy)

Another day, another bug fix for my incompetence at properly changing things when introducing variables into the mix.

This go around I now have Part2 pulling the CIA name used in part 1, and adding "Edited_" in front of it for the modified CIA file.
I also modified Clean.bat to reflect that change and clean up some extra files I create for variable storage between the two parts
Both parts should work perfectly with file names that have spaces and within folders that have spaces.

If you follow directions in OP at this point, you end up downloading an old version of home menu because I don't believe OP has the most recent versions.
I would use godmode9 to dump the title .app to cia straight from your 3ds.

Do you have a NAND backup to restore? If not, I think you can perform a ctrNAND transfer to recover from the brick.

This is for changing colors and layout. I dont think that is possible to bypass afaik.

no. That is something that is on nintendos servers. There is NO WAY of changing that information.
