I just wonder if the blue card of gateway works to make this ?

Is there any way of "jumping " some steps if I already own a gateway flashcard to make this ?

If you own a gateway why install CFW? gateway does way more then the CFW does.

There is no real reason to do this if you have a Gateway but, yes you can use the blue card.

Thanks :p

Apparently there's no reason but I only own 1 gateway and 2 3ds so I want to make this to avoid swtiching the flashcard or even selling one

That is not a reason also, switching gateway is much faster and easier than trying many times to boot to CFW and the problem of compatibility also.

Oh so even when you are able to install the CFW there is no guarantee of opening it smootlhy ?

I have one gateway and 2 3ds and I'm still trying to work out if I can get one to operate without the cart (ie. To lend it to someone) does using the MT card launcher allow installing cias to emunand then later booting into that emunand and run them without the cart present?

Nope, I don't think so

Will MT loader load emuNAND created from 9.2 NAND backup made by GW?
If so, will eShop work after upgrading emuNAND to 9.4?
Will I be able to download titles bought in this emuNAND on a real NAND after updating?

When did this happen? we can use emunand 9.4 and Roms together without GW?

Edit: NVM got what he meant, How is this a new tutorial anyways? this has been said again and again for months.

You can't install CIAs to 9.4 emuNAND. Even with a Gateway it will require the card to work. Basically, if you want CIA functionality on 9.4, you'll have to use a Gateway.

Hang on what? You can't install CIAs to an MT emunand or an MT 9.4 emunand or anything but a 9.2 GW emunand? what emunand(s) can you install CIAs to? and do none of them run without a card?

Without a Gateway card you can't install CIAs unless you have the CFW. If you do however, I have no idea (too tired to think, lol sorry)

After installing the CFW and booting into it it keeps on crashing while doing anything, what did i do wrong ? If i boot with L pressed the firmware is very buggy and everything freezes. When i dont hold L i just get a blue screen

Fixed all the issue's i had

Is it necesary to downgrade to use emunand? I don't want cfw features, I just want to stay on 9.2 and use emunand 9.4 without a GW card to be able to use the eshop.
If it is possible, how could I do that?

Yes, it is necessary to downgrade to use emuNAND. The MT launcher won't work when launched via the browser.
