I've tried launching tubehax, and so far it won't work. My DNS is correct (107.211.140.065.) for both my secondary and primary DNS options. My SD Card is set up with the right files, straight from smealum's website, without any extra homebrew apps.
My firmware is 9.4.0-21U and I've entered my firmware as 9.4.0 OLD.

Whenever I try launching youtube now, I get crashed, and an error saying, "An error has occurred, forcing the software to close. The system will now restart. (Unsaved data may be lost.)"

Any suggestions?

Well, DNS redirect works since you can choose firmware version.

A few points that come to mind:
1. If you're using the starter kit, try downloading the newest boot.3dsx
2. Clear youtube cache
3. You're sure you selected the correct region firmware in youtube?
4. Maybe.. just maybe.. your youtube app is outdated...

No update is needed for Tubehax.

1. Link to the new boot.3dsx?
2. How?
3. Yes.
4. Possibly. I'll think about that last.

Smea's tweet for new boot.3dsx: https://twitter.com/smealum/status/633838164042383361

And it's actually cookies, not cache.. sorry >.< And after rereading smea's tweet, it's just for letting you rechoose your firmware version without time limit like the first time you run it, so maybe it's useless in your case.

Once again, I'm not sure if youtube actually has an update =/ And you can't update it unless you're on latest firmware or you have gateway emunand.

I'm having the same problem, and I'm on 9.4.021E. I'm 95% sure I selected the right firmware. So this problem has got to be due to the firmware.

This also had happened to me. I'm on 9.0.0u and I triple checked my DNS. It has worked for me before but now, it seems to no longer work

Edit: Turns out that the http://smea.mtheall.com/ website is down. Apparently when this is back up, hebrew works again

Would that explain why when the method starts outputting some info, it could lock up about half way? For me using tubeHax, it's either that happening, or the whole error application error mentioned in this thread.

I exactly have same problem with 9.4E. I tried 50+ times. Despite it's stupid, I also tried other options on fw selection page. entered second dns etc.

Anyone at 9.4 succeed? or upgraded than tubehax worked?

I think there's a problem with the application. I've tried different boot.3dsx's, resetted the YouTube app a number of times. I think it's definitely a problem with the application.

I have this problem but I solved. I always setting up DNS (only remove last 65 and replace) before I launch Youtube. Good luck...
