Hardware trying to set up R4i 3ds for DSI

Trying to set up a DSI with a older R4i 3DS revolution. What would be the best option? It would only be for the DSi. and maybe some cheat codes? iThe Dsi is on 1.4.4

any help would be much appreciated

I think that card should work fine on any DSi without needing a firmware update or anything, though there is a firmware update on the flashcard archive so if it doesn't work you might need to run that on it using a DS/DS Lite/older firmware DSi, I'm not 100% sure exactly though, it probably already works I think.

For cheats you should use DeadSkullzJr's database.
