Hacking trying to install divx..

ok so i already have cios36rev7 and gamma installed... also have shop channel thing (ios51) installed.
now i want to play dvd movies on my wii, so gonna try to install divx.
is it gonna be ok or will there be a conflict?
because i already have ios249 installed (for gamma loader, right?) and if i understand correctly, divx will also install to ios249.
so will there be a conflict of some sort?

I think you"re talking of DVDx ?

There will be no conflict, it will install a hidden channel only, no cIOS.

The need to install DVDx to use cIOS249 was for leaked backup launcher. If you only plan to use it for dvd reading you should install it on default configuration.

mmm ok i ran the installer,
it has 3 options: normal install, patchmii install, advanced install.
when i go to the advanced install, i can choose ios.. so do i choose 249 here?
or should i just do the normal install?
what's the difference?

You are supposed to choose normal install if you don't have a mod-chip.
