Hacking Trying to hack/Exploit my 3ds to play games

Hello all! It's been far too long since I've been to this site and under a old username. I'm back on this site so I hope I can get some help with installing custom firmware or any other methods so I can play backup games.
So my situation is I'm using a 3DS that is on official Firmware 11.6.0-39 U and I want to be able to play backup 3ds games. So my question is, What can I do to be able to play backup 3DS games on my system. Tutorials, flash cards, anything else that would help? I'm just so out of the loop here so any help would be appreciated. Thank you

It would probably be easiest to update to 11.9.0 and follow the guide for that. It is also completely free.

11.9 is best option and you also get to use eshop.
