I'm trying to run MegaMart but everytime I do, All I get is "The game could not be started. (8002013C)" I've been dealing with this since January 2018 and so far nothing new. I even tried downloading the 2.57/2.58 versions but the original site where the game came from is long gone. Can anyone help me so I can get the game going? I'd appreciate it very much.

*The firmware i'm on is 6.61 PRO-C

Hello.:)

http://psp-homebrew.fanjita.org/version.php?id=766

I think and fear for you, that are Things exist, they no longer can work.
Please look at the Firmware Version of the Game.

I have tried it on Custom Firmware 6.61 PROMOD-C2p and have also this (expected) Error Message.

For what I know, there is NO WAY to downgrade a PSP to such as low Version.....:(
Also you can read in the README.TXT (I always wonder for what purpose this FILE is...)

-------------------
- Installation -
-------------------
FW 1.00: Copy MegaMart folder to mso:\PSP\GAME
FW 1.50: Copy MegaMart & %MegaMart folders to: mso:\PSP\GAME
FW 1.51+: You are on your own!

The only Chance that I see is to get an PSP with such an Firmware Version. :)

Thank you and
Good Luck.:)

So this would work with MegaMart on 6.61?
LEDA - Legacy Software Loader, beta 0.2
Description:
LEDA is a program that integrates into M33 custom firmwares to let some old 1.00/1.50 homebrew to run.
To avoid waste of memory, leda is only loaded when necessary.
Current compatibility is unknown as is still in beta.
Although it may work on previous m33 versions, it has only be tested on 5.00 M33.

Changes:
- Increased compatibility

Release,October 2009

Honestly,I would advise against it.....

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I STRONGLY advise not to use it,it try to patches some Firmware/.bin Files......

You are welcome, I am putting my PSP with Pleasure at risk to help our Users ....:P

A little late but i've recompiled megamart so it will work with newer firmwares.

Unfortunately I cannot leave a github link here :(

Back in the day, or “bitd” if you’re under 20, you could “force” a game to use the 1.50 kernel. Just create a “GAME150” directory, such as, mc0:/PSP/GAME150. Not sure if this still works, though.

Eh. I dunno if I could be bothered posting on another forum.

The GAME150 was deprecated in later M33 firmwares IIRC due to the 1.50 kernel not being loadable.

I've often been the one to come and leave forums, I think I only signed up to secure my nickname but here we are 11 years later ;)
