When ever I try to open the Home Menu on my modded 2DS XL it crashes and gives me an error code. I haven't got a custom theme, I've got the latest Luma Update (v12.0) and it still hapens without the sd card in. Any help would be appreciated Thanks View attachment 20230309_002137.jpg
try using a backup from when it did work
it could be an issue with the console its self and so when restoring the backup it will replace the sysnand with the one from the backup, so you will only lose recent system data
just make sure to make a backup of itself in the broken state as well just incase it isn't as simple as restoring a backup
all your downloaded titles will still exist... However you will need to get new tickets for new titles you added to make them pop up again

I had a issue just like it, here "https://gbatemp.net/threads/broken-3ds-menu-forcing-a-crash.628331/" and it got resolved through the use of a previous backup, thank you That1LoserGuy btw.
Although it was a 3ds but if im correct then its the same problem, different model of device. I have no idea what actually causes the menu to break, it just does on modded 3ds's, just rarely i hope.

what you will need to do is grab your .bin, put it on the sdcard, and then hop into godmod9, navigate to the restore sysnand option, and then restore from the old backup
