Hacking Trouble Installing DLC on wupinstaller ymod + redNAND

Hi Guys,

First time poster, long time lurker.

Reading several guides and tutorials on installing Updates/DLC using WupInstaller ymod 1.3 and some indicate to use an external HDD while others don't specify so trying to get some clarity on if an external hard drive is required.

I don't have a working external hdd at the moment and have been trying to install updates + DLC Super Smash Bros [0005000E10145000].

I am running a Haxchi + Mocha CFW setup.
Downloaded the game+update+DLC via WiiU USB Helper.
Transferred all of it to my SD (via USB Helper). Checked my SD card that all of it in 3 separate folders under sd://install/
Booted into Mocha CFW RedNAND and then HBL
Launched WUP Installer y mod

I am able to install the game .. but it is not detecting the update folder or the DLC. I've tried WUP Installer GX2 (HBL) and doesn't detect the content either.

Have played around with creating a sub folders such as 'sd://install/dlc' and 'sd://install/update'

So I am confused as if I do actually need an external HDD here? should it not at least detect the updates.

HaxChi + Mocha + RedNAND? Why would you do such a thing? Ditch redNAND and Mocha. You dont need either of you have HaxChi

As Kafluke said, you shouldn't be using a CFW to boot into another CFW, then on top of that you boot into RedNand. Your just asking for trouble.

As for why its not detecting the DLC or Update for you to install them, is because both the DLC and the Update MUST have their own folders in the install folder for you to install them using WUP Installer. The DLC and Update gets installed just like a game. You put the DLC and Update in their own folders with the [TitleID6] on the end of the name, then you install them the same way you install a game using WUP Installer.

EX:

SD:/install/Game01 [TITLEID6]
SD:/install/Game01 DLC [TITLEID6]
SD:/install/Game01 Update [TITLEID6]

Im pretty sure the TitleID6 for both the DLC and Update is the same as the game they are for.
