Hacking Trouble downgrading 9.9 o3DS

So , i found an o3DS on 9.9 and it has Ironhax.

I put the 9.2 files in "E:/updates" and the sysUpdater build in "E:/3ds"
but whenever i launch sysUpdater , i get a black screen.I cannot go back to the hbl.

Help ?
A better build ?
Is Ironhax the problem ?

Try with menuhax.
I think people were more succesfull using menuhax for booting in hbl and the downgrading with sysupdater.

Menuhax and ftpbrony quick launch and close before launching sysupdater seems to be the generic advice. Not sure id it does anything but its more of a lucky charm for me at this point.

sysUpdater now boots but no memchunkhax2 ... i thought it was supposed to start before sysUpdater (?)

Not sure where you are expecting it to say something about memchunkhax2 but if you are using the version of sysupdater found in the simple downgrading tutorial thread it has been modified to utilize memchunkhax2.

Memchunkhax2 is an exploit not a CFW...

Which means that you won't boot anything else other than HBL > Sysupdater and then downgrade.

If your 3DS keeps freezing when starting sysupdater that's normal, some people took a 100 tries for them to work.
