Just hit the reset button on the front of the Wii. Don't hit Home first.

I hit the home button back to Wii menu (in NAND emulatoin) and my Wii reboots with the health screen.

So everyones wii does things differently.. This is strange. Somebody should give us an explanation why it does so.

My guess would be you have no hacks enabled in preloader or you don't have preloader installed.

I have the preloader hack for skipping the health screen.I bet if i turn it off mine will reset to the health screen.

For whoever couldnt get Lostwinds to work from an emulated nand quite a few pages back, I just tried it and had to set the hooktype to VBI. Then it works great.

And without hooktypte it did not work??? Anyways, >95%(if not ALL) of compatilibty issues with nand emu, are related to the "cIOS does not like the device" nothing more, nothing less.

Yes at least for me it didnt work without any hooktype, it stayed on a black screen and the remote wouldnt sync until the VBI hooktype was selected. 3.2U btw.

Yeah, Driift Mania also required some sort of a hooktype for it to work. Maybe I should try Monkey Island too.

Did you have to turn on any other options as well (i.e. debugger, ocarina etc), or did you just change the hooktype? I tried this last night with no luck.

Also, there is a wiki for Triiforce that could use this information. I have about 40 wiiware games to test, and I intend to report the results there. I do understand that many of the problem games don't load because of an incompatibility between the cIOS and the media used for NAND emulation, but I still think that the wiki can save some people time in trying to get games to work.

I didn't read the whole thread, but when I load the USB Nand, it shows a list of games on my usb and on my wii's nand, and also sometimes some games on my nand don't show up while others do. This happens sometimes with the game Contra Hard Corps, it's not in the list but when it is there it works. Also the games I tried:

Art Style: Orbient: Couldn't get it to work
Contra Hard Corps: Works
Dr Mario: Works
Mega Man 9: Works
Star Soldier R: Couldn't get it to work
Super Mario 64: Couldn't get it to work
World of Goo: Works, (but in the Goo factory where the extra Goo's are saved, it always freezes after about 10 seconds, although I haven't tried installing this game on my wii's nand so it could have the same problem there. I am not sure if this game uses wifi, but I have a wired connection and that could be the problem)

edit: I'm using beta 5, with the Nand on the USB

It worked initially but now everytime I load it no matter what hooktype or settings I select, it either locks up and does the buzzing noise, or just hangs at a black screen.

You should update the wiki with this info. The reason for the freeze after 10 seconds is due to it trying to access the internet for the other people's heights.

Hi,
I have a pal 3.2E wii and I'm using a 3.2 ntsc nand... I'm trying to get the games to play with 480p but when I ran them (even with force ntsc480p, pal480p), it changes to 480i/60hz... for wiiware and virtual console... Any suggestions?

It's funny that you are getting an error with Mario 64 and Zelda 64 Oot because they are working fine for me. I'm using emulated nand from SD and all N64 games boot fine and after 5 minutes of testing don't crash or give an error. The only thing i noticed was that Majora's Mask and Ocarina of time take a while to load (Majora's Mask shows the spinning N for a long time) but afterwards it plays great until you press the Home button and then press close, it will load again (showing the spinning N again). So far the only game i had a problem with was Eduardo the Samurai Toaster when it tried to create a save it said it couldn't read Wii system memory but i think it can be fixed by playing it from nand first nad then creating a dump with the save already there. I didn't try again cause the game sucked anyway

To the people that have Rondo of Blood (J), when I boot triiforce, there is no name, maybe cause of the japanese characters? It's hardly a bug but interesting.

well it kind of doesn't work well, if you delete the games from your NAND then TriiForce wont tell you they are on your SD neither...!!

I dont get what triiforce is exactly. I mean, if a vc/ww game is already installed, why do i need triiforce to launch it?
